New PS5 model registered, with only one obvious change
A new model of the PlayStation 5 has been registered but does not appear to be a major departure from the current launch models. Launch model PlayStation 5s used a CFI-1XXX model scheme, and this new one is listed as CFI-1115A.
The only known difference between the two is in the Wireless Communication Module. The current module is J20H100 and is being replaced with AW-XM501 in this revision. From available documents, it appears to have less 2.4GHz range but more 5Ghz range. Perhaps this is an intentional move to get more until to use the faster 5Ghz band for better speed and latency.
